Does Weld Racing make anything that fits the 1989 Saleen? The track is wider on these cars so the traditional sizes won't fit. I believe a 15x8 with 6.5" bs would work on the back.

In a 15x8 wheel the maximum back spacing for our product is 5.5 inches. We do not make a 6.5 back space until you get into a 10 inch wide product.

Sorry if I miss understood your question. Even though the track of this car is different the 15x8 with a 5.5 back spacing would be a good fit. I would need to know the brake deminsions if possible. Call our office so we can discuss this fitment further. 800-788-9353.
