I have a 72 Chevelle SS want to put the widest 17" i can on and been sure they will work on front and back, wanting to use 40 series tires. All info would be appreciated.

If the car is STOCk, stock brakes, stock suspension ect. Then you can use our RT-S wheel in a 17x8 with a 4.5 back space and a 17x10 rear with a 5.5 inch back space.

what tire size would you suggest thats looks best, I was thinking 255x40 on front & 285 x40 on rear, what size would you use?

Tire choice is up to you. Depends on how you want to drive it.

my wife and i are in our 60's and just pleasure drive short trips 250 miles or less and around town,want the car to look muscle but want drivable. thanks
